There are several ways to get involved in the PA Science DMZ project. First, learn more about Science DMZs and how they support enhanced data intensive research and education here [link to presentations, overview page, etc]. The PA Science DMZ is a statewide Science DMZ that enables and enhances access for under resourced PA institutions of higher education to cyberinfrastructure-based resources and services in support of science driven research and education applications.
If your campus is not yet part of the PA Science DMZ, we can help you get connected to it, and learn how to participate. You can also request a PA Science DMZ Roadshow where our PA Science DMZ team will come to your campus and work with you to help your researchers, IT staff, and campus administrators understand the benefits of participating in the PA Science DMZ and how the PA Science DMZ can support innovation, speed up science, and support unique research and education use cases for your faculty and staff.
Check out an upcoming PA Science DMZ Roadshow in your region and share the opportunity with others on your campus who may benefit. Upcoming events include:
June 3–4, 2025 – Research Cyberinfrastructure for Smaller Institutions (RCSI), Swarthmore College
June 10–11, 2025 – Consortium of Liberal Arts Colleges (CLAC) presentation on regional DMZ efforts
June 17–18, 2025 – Modern Cyberinfrastructure for Research Data Management, Jefferson University (Link coming soon)
October 16–17, 2025 – KINBERCON 2025, Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Track
